Where Indians apply
Poland accepts applications only in person through VFS Global: the Embassy in New Delhi decides for residents of Delhi NCR, Haryana, Punjab, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh and the northern and eastern states, and the Consulate General in Mumbai for Maharashtra, Gujarat, Goa, Karnataka, Kerala, Tamil Nadu and the rest of the west and south.
Fee and processing time
The fee is EUR 90 (EUR 45 for children aged 6 to 11, free under 6) plus the VFS service charge, and it is not refunded if refused. Poland commits to deciding within 15 calendar days of a complete application, extendable to 45 days, but the real constraint is appointments: New Delhi releases slots once a week on Wednesdays at 11:00 and Mumbai once a month, so start two to three months ahead and book directly, since the missions refuse to deal with agents.
That is about $100 in US dollars at the time of verification; the official fee is set in local currency.
