Opportunity Card (Chancenkarte)

Requires a recognized degree or 2-year vocational qualification plus proof of funds of €13,092 (blocked account of €1,091/month, or a part-time work contract). Trial work up to 2 days/week while searching.

National visa (Type D) for admitted students. Requires university admission, an APS certificate (mandatory for Indian applicants), and a blocked account of €11,904 covering one year of living costs (€992/month released after arrival). Official processing guidance: 6–8 weeks.
