One-year permit for recent graduates (within 3 years) of Dutch universities or top-ranked global universities to live in the Netherlands and find work, with free access to the labour market. No income or savings requirement. Landing an HSM job afterwards qualifies for the reduced €3,122/month salary threshold.

Documents you'll need

- Diploma evaluation for foreign degreesA Nuffic credential evaluation attached to the application.
- Legalise your documentsDegree certificate with apostille or legalisation, and English or Dutch translation where required.
- Apply to the IND (TEV via the embassy)MVV and residence permit in one procedure; decision within 90 days, usually much faster.
- Collect the MVV & travelBiometrics and MVV sticker at VFS or the embassy, then entry within the MVV validity.
- Register at your municipality (BRP) & get your BSNWithin 5 days of arrival; the BSN is used for banking, insurance and payroll.
- Collect your permit & start the job huntA year of free labour-market access; a later HSM offer needs only the reduced €3,122 a month.
