Spain Digital Nomad Visa (Teletrabajo) for Brazilians
Last verified: September 2, 2026
Overview
Spain's remote-work residence permit, and the most practical self-serve route for Brazilians who already have income from outside Spain. You need to work remotely for companies based outside Spain — no more than 20 per cent of your income may come from Spanish clients — and earn around twice the Spanish minimum wage, roughly €2,650 a month, with more required for each family member. You also need either a degree or three years of relevant experience, plus proof the employer has existed for at least a year. Where this becomes powerful is the exit: as a Brazilian national you can naturalise after just two years of legal residence under Article 22 of the Código Civil, against ten years for most nationalities, so this visa can put Spanish and therefore EU citizenship within a realistic horizon.
